July 23rd -August 1st 2011

Our Family Camp, which operates in late July of each year, is an incredible 8+ days of worship and celebration. Our facilities are filled to capacity as people from across Canada Central District and as far away as Vancouver Island and Florida are drawn to this annual celebration. During this week, the riverfront provides opportunities for boating, fishing and canoeing on a quiet river that leads into beautiful Lake Simcoe. Just a short drive provides swimming at the lake and several excellent golf courses.

Special Music

Woody And Vonnie Wright

What a joy it is to travel all over this country and to other countries singing the music I love. God has been so good to me to allow me the opportunity to share His goodness everywhere from the grand stage of Carnegie Hall to the Fellowship Hall at rural churches out in the country. I love what I do, and I'm thankful for every chance I've had to do it! So, thanks go out to all the Pastors, promoters, producers, musicians, songwriters and friends who have helped to make a fellow from East Tennessee see his dreams                                                                      come true.

! “Woody and Vonnie Wright are people of tremendous ability, but in addition to that, they are people who can identify with their hearers. What you see is what you get. They have a life changing story that is heard and understood by those who are seeking for the peace and satisfaction that only Jesus can provide. The songs they sing and the words they share are from personal experience and from hearts of deep gratitude for all that the Lord has done. I simply can't think of a more powerful ministry combination than that. My life is better from having been touched by their Godly influence.”

Lorne and Jimmie Ruth Matthews

Lorne  Matthews, the pianist, is a “living legend”, in a league of his own.  His performance is a unique blend of God-given talent, anointing of the Holy Spirit, class, unusual creativity and hard work.Lorne has very much developed his own individual, creative style. He can comfortably play behind a rousing black choir or perform the most beautiful classical melody.  A familiar hymn may be introduced  by a resplendent classic from Beethoven or an Oscar Peterson lick might kick off an enthusiastic southern gospel song.  He excels with worship atmosphere. Using the very latest in digital keyboards and computerized equipment, Lorne has made a connection with the youth culture, while at the same time, using many familiar hymns to the delight of the senior citizens.   This time of entertainment as well as musical worship and praise will be a blessing  to every age strata.   “Request Time”, is an informal time included as a part of most programs. While the character of Christ is being formed in the heart of the man, the music flows from his soul to his fingertips, painting an audible  picture without a canvas.  The artist weaves, sculpts and creates various musical pictures.  You are more than just an observer or a listener – you become a part of the masterpiece.  These pictures cannot be duplicated because they come from the deepest emotion of one man – the artist! Most opportunities include vocal duets with Lorne and wife Jimmie Ruth.  The restoring and healing in their lives is one of the great contemporary miracles of our day.
